What kind of tank will my leo need?

You need a tank for your gecko’s new home. A 10 gallon (38 litre) tank is big enough to start with for one gecko. It is better for your leo if you get a bigger tank.

Geckos can’t climb on a smooth surface like glass, so they won’t escape from the tank.

There must be a screen lid on the gecko tank if you have other pets. A cat or dog might think your gecko looks good to eat!

You also need to set up their home so they can’t get too close to the lights at the top and get burned.
